近现代欧洲史 MPhil Modern European History

The MPhil in Modern European History is a nine-month full-time programme focusing on continental Europe from roughly the mid-18th century to the present day. It offers an introduction to key themes and topics in modern European history and provides intensive methodological and historiographical training in social, cultural, political, and economic history. Students combine taught modules, research seminars, and workshops with a dissertation of 15,000–20,000 words on an original topic of their choice. A reading knowledge of a relevant European language is normally expected. Graduates pursue careers in law, journalism, NGO administration, and international organisations.
