教育学（儿童文学批判研究） MPhil Education (Critical Approaches to Children's Literature)

The MPhil in Education (Critical Approaches to Children's Literature) concentrates on a wide range of writing for children, including classic texts, works for very young readers, international literature, and literature for young adults. The route embeds close textual study and the history of children's literature, engaging students with key debates in the field through a range of theoretical perspectives from Romanticism and reader-response theory to gender studies, posthumanism, new historicism, and semiotics. The course is structured around four modules: Texts, Contexts and Childhood; Perspectives on Children's Literature; Visual Texts; and Texts and Readers. Assessment includes a variety of formats and a dissertation.
