The Department of Veterinary Medicine houses a wide range of skilled staff, facilities, and equipment, with strong ties to world-class research groups within Cambridge and surrounding institutes. The department has particular research strengths in Disease Dynamics, Infection and Immunity, and Systems Pathology, offering research subjects including clinical studies, laboratory work, field work, and computational biology. Students undertake research on a topic agreed with their Supervisor within a research group, with examination entirely based on the final thesis.
