The MSc Public Management is delivered by the Institute of Local Government Studies (INLOGOV) at the University of Birmingham. The programme enhances understanding of public sector governance, management and performance challenges, preparing graduates for impactful careers in national and international public service. Students develop expertise in comparative public management, governance, public sector economics, performance strategy, public leadership, and research methods. Teaching combines lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops, and assessment is conducted through group work, assignments, and a 60-credit dissertation.
