This pioneering two-year programme is jointly delivered by the University of Birmingham and Leiden University Medical Centre, and is the first of its kind to focus on International Population Health Management. Endorsed by WHO and NHS, it equips students with skills to tackle chronic disease, health inequalities, and resource allocation challenges. Students spend the first and third semesters in Birmingham and the second in Leiden, gaining insights from two European healthcare systems. The curriculum covers epidemiology, population health management, health economics, health inequalities, and predictive analytics, culminating in a dissertation project.
