牙科材料科学 MSc Dental Materials Science

The MSc Dental Materials Science at the University of Birmingham is a research-led programme equipping graduates with key principles of materials science and advanced laboratory skills for dental and biomaterials research. Running over 12 months full-time, the course spans three semesters: the first covers mechanical, physical and chemical properties of dental materials including polymer-based systems, ceramic systems and 3D-printing technologies; the second explores metal alloys, biological interactions of materials, tissue regeneration and novel technologies; and the third involves a 60-credit research project and dissertation. Teaching methods include weekly seminars, lectures, tutorials, and laboratory practicals. Students can also undertake the programme on a part-time basis.
