The MSc Bioinformatics programme places students at the forefront of the genomics and bioinformatics revolution, developing sought-after skills in statistics, computer programming and molecular biology. Working with the world's most advanced biological and clinical datasets, students explore omics-enabled biosciences across three terms. The first term covers maths, statistics, genomics, next generation sequencing and data analytics. The second term focuses on metabolomics, advanced omics and computational biology for complex systems. The summer term is dedicated to an individual thesis project involving real-life bioinformatics research.
