性别与性研究 MA Gender and Sexuality

The MA Gender and Sexuality at Birmingham is an interdisciplinary programme exploring how gender and sexuality intersect with race, class, disability and other dimensions of society. Drawing on the humanities and social sciences, it addresses questions of difference, equality, identity, minority experience and power. Core modules include Gender and Sexuality Studies, Praxis in Gender and Sexuality, and Research Methods in Gender and Sexuality, plus 60 credits of optional modules spanning Gender, Sexuality and Law; Queer and Trans Histories; and Contemporary Art and Masculinity. The programme culminates in a 12,000-word dissertation. Academics specialise in queer and trans studies, feminist legal research, and gender in arts and culture.
