英汉口译与笔译 MA English-Chinese Interpreting with Translation

The MA in English-Chinese Interpreting with Translation at Birmingham trains students for professional careers as interpreters between English and Chinese. The programme combines interpreting theory with practical training in the University's Interpreting Suite using industry-standard Televic technology. Students develop skills in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and gain proficiency in translation software including SDL Studio Freelance. Core modules cover interpreting for business, legal, medical and other professional settings. One-third of the degree is devoted to an Extended Interpreting Project, Extended Translation Project, or dissertation.
