分子生物科学（微生物学） Molecular Biosciences (Microbiology) MSc

This MSc equips students with a broad understanding of the molecular basis of biological systems, with a focus on microbes and their role in disease, developing new medicines, improving food biosecurity, and advancing environmental sustainability. Students learn to apply contemporary microbiology to help address the world's biggest challenges. The programme includes two separate research projects conducted in dedicated postgraduate labs, collaborative work with leading Department of Life Sciences researchers, and compulsory units in advanced molecular microbiology and broadening horizons. Optional modules span food security and infectious diseases, enabling students to tailor the degree to their interests.
