分子生物科学（生物信息学） Molecular Biosciences (Bioinformatics) MSc

This MSc allows students to study at the interface of biological and computational sciences to help address the world's biggest challenges in health, food biosecurity and environmental sustainability. The programme provides a broad understanding of the molecular basis of biological systems, with a focus on the increasingly crucial role that bioinformatics plays in modern biosciences. Students develop expertise in applying computational methods to analyse large biological datasets from Next Generation Sequencing and omics technologies, addressing topics ranging from bacterial epidemiology and healthy ageing to genomic medicine, evolution and conservation biology. The programme is delivered in collaboration with leading researchers from the Department of Life Sciences.
