The MSc in International Development equips students with the interdisciplinary research and interpersonal skills needed to constructively engage with the diverse social, political, and cultural environments shaping countries' development processes. The programme addresses the global challenges of poverty, inequality, conflict, sustainability, and social justice, preparing students to act as informed global citizens capable of making a meaningful difference. The curriculum combines compulsory units on research methodology and development theory with optional specialisations, and students may complete a traditional dissertation or undertake an eight-week placement with development organisations.
