商学(高级) Master of Commerce (Advanced)

The Master of Commerce (Advanced) at ANU offers a pathway to PhD study specialising in accounting. Students with little background in accounting can still reach an advanced level of academic study. The 96-unit program provides advanced study in one or more accounting disciplines and requires completion of research preparation coursework and a 24-unit research thesis. Core courses cover financial statements and reporting, corporate accounting, commercial law, financial reporting analysis, statistics, and research methods in commerce. The program is taught by research-active staff, exposing students to professional and scholarly accounting research to enhance academic competence and develop independent research skills.
