精算学 Master of Actuarial Studies

The Master of Actuarial Studies equips students with mathematical, statistical, financial, economic and other skills to untangle the most complex and difficult problems facing the commercial world. Risk is all around us — in investment markets, on roads, from health and the climate. This degree teaches students how to apply mathematical talent to understanding, measuring and managing risks. The program requires 96 units: 72 compulsory core courses covering mathematical statistics, regression modelling, survival models, life contingencies, financial mathematics, actuarial techniques, risk modelling, stochastic processes, actuarial data analysis, and the actuarial control cycle; plus 24 elective units.
