策展与博物馆学 Master of Curatorial and Museum Studies

Museums are dynamic and ever-changing cultural institutions. The Master of Curatorial and Museum Studies at Adelaide University challenges existing museum theory and practice. Delivered in partnership with key cultural institutions including the South Australian Museum and the History Trust of South Australia, the program explores cultural ownership, conservation and ethical collection and exhibition development. Students study contemporary curatorial theory, the life of objects in cultural institutions, and the complex acquisition histories of museums and art galleries. Learning includes regular site visits, guest lectures and internships. Students complete core courses, electives spanning art history, history and media, and a research dissertation.
