The MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition is Scotland's only specialised programme in this field, based at the prestigious Rowett Institute — one of the world's leading nutrition research centres. The programme prepares graduates to support the nutritional needs of athletes, physically active individuals, and patient populations. Core topics include exercise metabolism, foundations of nutrition, assessment of nutritional status, health and behaviour change, ergogenic aids, and a 60-credit research thesis. Students gain hands-on experience through partnerships with NHS Grampian and community organisations.
