The MSc Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Aberdeen is designed to meet the growing demand for renewable energy specialists, providing advanced skills to design, build, and optimise renewable energy infrastructure. The programme covers marine, wind, solar, geothermal, and bioenergy technologies with a strong interdisciplinary approach. It is the only MSc in the UK to offer laboratory teaching across hydroelectric energy, solar energy, and anaerobic digestion. Core topics include energy conversion and storage, grid integration, and renewable energy legislation, economics, and safety.
